Faculty-Led Programs in Kenya

Inspire Global Impact partners with colleges, universities, and faculty leaders to develop customized global learning experiences in Kenya.

​Programs can be designed around a variety of academic interests, including public health, nursing, education, psychology, social work, leadership, and community engagement

 

Faculty-led experiences may include:

  • Customized learning objectives

  • Community-based projects

  • Cultural immersion activities

  • Health awareness initiatives

  • Housing and transportation

  • Guided excursions

  • On-site support and logistics

 

We work closely with faculty members to create meaningful, ethical, and academically relevant experiences that align with course goals and student learning outcomes.

Global Health Awareness

Support school-based health awareness activities focused on hygiene, wellness, nutrition, oral health, and disease prevention while working alongside local educators and
students.

Build confidence, adaptability, communication skills, and global perspectives through real-world experiences that challenge you to grow both personally and professionally

Cultural Immersion

Experience daily life in Kenya through community engagement, cultural exchange, local traditions, guided excursions, and meaningful interactions with families, educators, and youth.

What Do Volunteers Do?

Participants work alongside local educators and community partners to support health awareness and youth engagement activities in schools.

Activities may include:

  • Hygiene and handwashing education

  • Oral health awareness

  • Nutrition and wellness activities

  • Disease prevention education

  • Educational games and youth engagement

  • Community outreach projects

  • Cultural exchange activities

 

No prior experience is required. Volunteers receive guidance and support throughout the program.

Accommodation & Meals

Participants stay in safe, vetted group housing selected for comfort, security, and proximity to program activities.

Included:

  • Shared accommodations

  • Daily meals

  • Safe drinking water

  • On-site support

  • Access to local amenities

Transportation

The program includes:

  • Airport pickup and drop-off

  • Transportation to all scheduled activities

  • Transportation for cultural excursions

  • Local support throughout your stay

 

Participants are never expected to navigate unfamiliar areas alone.
